Tom McEvoy
CEO
Tom is a well-respected building materials veteran who ran the Asian business out of Hong Kong and the European business out of London for Armstrong World Industries. Tom left Armstrong to become President of High Concrete, one of the top five precast concrete manufacturers in North America.
While at High, he coordinated a project with Oldcastle to create the Altus Group, an independent company that developed and marketed precast concrete reinforced with a carbon fiber mesh. He also became Chairman of PCI ( Precast Concrete Institute) during this time. Tom is a graduate of Williams College and received a MBA from Emory University.
Gil Heldenfels
PRESIDENT
Gil has been active in the U.S. construction industry for over 25 years. Inspired by his work on fortified building projects, including those for the military and coastal residential markets, Gil Heldenfels is a strong proponent of building resiliently. Aligned with DesignStone’s vision, values, and design, Gil is excited to be a part of the team and contribute his 25 years of construction experience to help establish DesignStone as the new standard for resilient building in the U.S.
Laura Hogan
CMO
With over 16 years of experience in the building material and construction industry, Laura Hogan is a seasoned omni-channel marketer who has built successful programs at the local, regional and national levels for multi-billion dollar organizations. Her ability to develop strong partner relationships, high-performing go-to-market strategies and sales enabling campaigns has led to her continued growth within the B2B sectors of high profile companies.
Dr Thomas Harmon
PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
DesignStone`s technical advisor, Tom was a professor at Washington University where he researched concrete material behaviour and design, earthquake engineering and wind design. He retired as Dean of Professional Education. Tom has a Ph.D. in Engineering from MIT.

DesignStone`s go-to Texas Construction Manager. Dustin is a well-respected construction industry professional and combat veteran business owner (G.I. Construction Management) with many years experience.

ARCHITECTURAL OPERATIONS
Daniela, a qualified architect has 3 years experience designing DesignStone homes and 19 years of successful experience in managing construction and remodelling of small commercial buildings, residential and franchise projects in Brazil.
